Nijmegen Company, Grenadier Guards form up on the tarmac as a Guard of Honour whilst they prepare for the plane to land.

"STAND AT EASE!"


The plane carrying the Lazarushian Delegation lands and a red carpet is moved into place at the main door of the plane. The Lord Chamberlain and Vice-Chamberlain stand at the bottom of the stairs alongside the Foreign Secretary as members of the Lazarushian delegation emerge from the plane. The British Officials greet their counterparts from Lazarus and proceed down the red carpet towards the dais where His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales awaits the party. The Grenadier Guards stand to attention as the group processes down the carpet.

"NIJMEGEN COMPANY, SHUN!"

The group ascends the dais and the head of the Lazarushian delegation stands near the Prince of Wales. The Band of the Grenadier Guards then begins playing the National Anthem as Nijmegen Company presents arms.

"ROYAL SALUTE! PRESENT ARMS!"



After God Save the Queen finishes, His Royal Highness approaches the lectern and begins his speech.

It gives me much pleasure to welcome your excellencies to the United Kingdom. I would like to welcome First Citizen Ellenburg in particular and thank him for his work in coordinating this event on the Lazarus side. I hope that you shall enjoy your stay in the United Kingdom and that you rejoice in our wonderful British service.

This marks my first state visit since I ascended to the role of Prince of Wales in June. It is also a significant day for the United Kingdom as a whole as it is our first state visit for some time. Additionally, it marks a new milestone in our world as we become a more outward facing region in the field of foreign policy. A milestone that I am sure will provide new frontiers for the United Kingdom. We look forward to showing you our region as the first of our new friends to visit us. 

I hope that this visit may be a forum in which our two regions can relish in our shared values and advance our relations together. Here in the United Kingdom, we pride ourselves on being welcoming and friendly to all and giving everyone opportunities, as I am sure is done in Lazarus. We hope to share our unique traditions with you over your stay here. In particular, we look forward to displaying our unique political system, which has been at the heart of the United Kingdom over its existence. I also hope that you may experience our culture over your stay here, which is ever-growing and glorious.

Once again, I hope you enjoy your stay here. I look forward to meeting with you all again.
