Hello NSUK

I'm unsure how to start this, but here goes. Until very recently I was your Minister for the Culture Office Sirch Somerset. But now, against my will I have been forced out of a region I both know and love. My time here has not been without its drawbacks, but as a whole has been an experience I will never forget.

Sadly, once the Regional Sercurity and Omnibus Act is in place I will be resigning my citizenship or I will face a permanent ban. I am strongly opposed to this Act for one single reason.

1. I have tried, several times to ask for the identity of the perpetrators and proof of their actions yet at every turn I have been rebutted and ignored. How can I and NSUK as a whole be asked to support such a bill when there is no proof of the allegations.

So, I ask all of NSUK to stand opposed and united against this monstrosity of a bill. Set to divide our two great regions even further than they already are.

Not to be rude, actually no, to be rude, you have 12 posts and nobody’s forcing you to leave. If you’ve been asking in private, maybe you should be asking in public. All you’re doing right now is exactly what the last group of people who decided to run away from here after making baseless accusations did. I apologize that you felt the need to be rude, that was not at all the idea when I posted lamenting how I felt that this bill was wrong.

To answer your question, I have not voiced my opinions in public, as I thought that if the PM would not tell me it would be slightly insane if a normal citizen could tell me. I did not also want to involve myself in a in-depth discussion with other individuals who I knew did not share the same opinions as I did.

Next time, I would urge that you answer heart felt goodbyes such as this one with slightly more decorum. I have not insulted or been rude to anyone with this post and would have strongly appreciated if you hadnt done so as well.

So I hear you. I think the problem that I have is I have run out of patience as well as assumption of goodwill from people who’ve made posts like this in the past long before you have. So I do apologize.

Unfortunately, people who share your last name and or share the region which you will be leaving us for, made statements such as this but in such a way that continued to speak negatively of this community and the people in it, which is exceedingly disrespectful. Now, it could be because I haven’t been as involved here as I normally have been, but honestly looking at your forum presence you didn’t really have one so it almost felt as though you were simply following the footsteps of several people who are currently active members in the region you will be leaving us for.

So I do apologize for being so aggressive towards you, but I do wanna remind you that you have a choice on whether or not you want to stay here. You have a choice to push the government to be more transparent in what specifically has been going on. What specific actors have been involved in this that have led to us eventually deciding that we can’t just punish individuals, we have to more strictly restrict access to our region, to our community, and to our home from people who just want to take away and not add.

I would be very much in your boat demanding that we have more transparency what does specifics are, if I didn’t know the kind of people who run that other region. I could go on several day rants as to why those people in that region are not good faith actors and why they had to go and make their own region because they couldn’t make it work in any other British region. I could go into so many details as to why they never really made it here, or any other British region, but honestly, at that point it kind of just becomes a I say this they will say otherwise because of their own opinions of me and others.

I do encourage you to search for the truth and search for the truth that makes the most sense and when searching for the truth do everything that you can to not allow your personal feelings towards individuals cloud the judgment of their political actions. I know deep down, really really really deep down that the people who run that region are probably good people, they’re just horrible politicians. The fact that they have been caught poaching and caught talking about our region poorly just perfectly sums up the fact that they’re not good politicians and they’re not as sneaky as they think they are.

Regardless of which ever region you decide to remain with, though I know based on your affiliations where you’re going, be careful not to allow yourself to give into the echo chamber without solidified proof that what they’re saying is the actual truth and not just what they want you to think it’s true. I don’t typically trust people based on what they say, but because of my personal experiences with the people who run that region, I am completely and utterly not surprised that they got caught doing this.

So, seek the truth, make sure you have all the facts before you truly decide to leave or truly decide to stay. Because knowing them, once the proscription is put in a place it’s going to be the one thing they will obsess about for months, meanwhile here, we will deal with it until it’s over with and then move onto the next important thing this region needs. I am certain that this government is already making plans and working on how to prevent this region from just continuing to think about this really unfortunate situation.

I'm not going to be rude, mean or stiff and all that... I just want to say, if you've been kicked out and feel the need for the Government to justify the reason, go ask them!
